"RIDING THE WAVES"
Romans 8:37-39 "No, in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
24 hours later, as I sat on the deck watching the waves, I got to discover how great God is…how He thought and loved us enough to create. this wonderful world for us to enjoy…and we don’t take advantage of it. As a matter of fact, we take it for granted. How sad that is. That He took out the time to carve this thing out, and we abuse and misuse it. I think sometimes we focus too much on everything around us that’s happening, that we miss out on what He has given us. For someone to go out their way and map out, carve out a world for us???…He must really had a lot of love for us.
As I noticed how often the waves were coming in and going out, it kind of relates to life’s ups and downs. Like one thing after another whereas you’re being tried on every side…the testing of our faith which sometimes come in waves at a time, not allowing you to catch your breath before the next one hits you! I have always said that God uses the everyday things in our lives, to teach us life’s lessons!!! He is so good! That’s because He is God!
This 60th birthday kind of hit me different from the others. It was more like a time of reflecting and being grateful for how God has kept me all this time and hownHe has always been there; not just for me, but for my entire family too! Those were them prayers of believers! THANK YOU JESUS! So, with that being said, ride through your waves that life tends to bring; sometimes one after the other, knowing Jesus allowed it, and if He allowed it, then He will definitely bring you through it because He will go through it with you!!! Remember, everything is according to HIS plan…..so RIDE THE WAVES!!!
