As a child we dreamed and imagined our lives to be as in a fairytale.  We pictured the perfect husband, the perfect house with the white picket fence and even perfect children; a boy and a girl with the addition of our pet dog!  The perfect job, everything just right.  But then real life slaps you in the face with tragedy after tragedy!  You find yourself faced with divorce, foreclosure on your home, eviction from your rental, the kids gone their own ways and even the dog isn't acting right!

 

You've sat and cried, feeling all alone in this mess and wondering why all these things are happening; like one after another, not allowing you to catch your breath!  You see, I can speak on this from my own experiences and what I had discovered is not once did I ever consult God about my life's journey!  I did life on my own terms, with all my own plans and that's the reason I got what I got!  That's what happens when you don't consult God in everything; every area of your life.  Only God can paint the "perfect picture" of our life if we surrender our lives to Him.

 

What better person can lay out or even orchestrate a perfect plan of life for you other than the one who created you???  Right?  Could you even imagine what that would probably have looked like?  Not saying that there wouldn't have been no issues but we may not have experienced a lot of the things we did go through.  He never promised us a "problem free" life but He did say He would be there with you to ease the blows life may throw at you!  With Him, you'll be able to withstand and endure.  

 

Remember, His son came and demonstrated that for us; for those who payed attention. So, with that being said, allow Him to direct your path.  It's never too late to start.  Just give Him a blank canvas and a brush to paint with; to start from scratch and watch how the plan of your life's journey play out!  After all, He is the master of all drawing boards;  unlike Picasso, His paintings and drawings are ALWAYS picture perfect!  That's what He majors in.....perfection, according to HIS own way!  God's way is always perfect!
